What Services Do We Provide?

Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida, Inc. is a multi-specialty health care practice. From our 12 medical and 6 dental offices, we provide medical, dental and medical social services to Lee and Charlotte Counties, as well as the western portion of Hendry County. Medical treatment is provided at each location by our Family Practice, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatric physicians and Dentists who are experienced in caring for every member of the family, regardless of the patient’s age or gender.

We provide the following Services:

THE HEALTHY BODY – HEALTHY SOUL BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER PROGRAM:

Established in 1999, the Healthy Body - Healthy Soul Program is a faith-based health promotion and disease prevention initiative implemented by Family Health Centers and local partner churches designed to increase access to health care and improve health of medically underserved women living in target low-income communities. Specifically, the program has focused on cancer education and early detection developed in response to the disproportionate impact that these cancers have on low-income, African-American and Hispanic communities. This program is in large part made possible through the generous contribution of funds from Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southwest Florida and The United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties.

Payments

Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida, Inc.'s medical offices accepts assignment from Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. FHC provides assistance to its patients in determining their eligibility to receive healthcare benefits under Florida's rapidly changing Medicaid system. Visa and MasterCard are accepted as a method of payment. Checks and cash are also welcome. FHC participates with several health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and physician hospital organizations (PHOs). Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida, Inc.'s dental offices accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or dental Medicaid. Family Health Centers works with those who are uninsured or who have limited coverage, and we offer a discounted fee program for those that qualify based on family size and income at the patient's request.
